The Komodo Dragon is the largest lizard in the world!

In 2009, an Australian study revealed the presence of venom glands under the jaws of the Komodo Dragon. Thus, the dragon bites its prey, then follows it and waits for it to die before devouring it.

The main predators of Komodo Dragons are the dragons themselves!
Indeed adults often attack young dragons. In order to escape the adults, the youngs have become accustomed to climbing trees to find shelter.

Komodo dragon are known to be parthenogenetic : female can reproduce without a male !
